# Try a recurring job with human review

A recurring workflow takes on a job that comes round again and again, such as reviewing incoming support requests. Start with a small one whose result a person can check.

### Start with one recurring job

1. Choose a small job. Pick work whose result you can inspect.
2. Agree on the boundaries. Decide the allowed actions and when a person is needed.
3. Try a rehearsal. Review what happened before allowing active changes.
4. Check each result. Look for useful work, failures and requests for help.

## Start with the outcome

Describe what should happen, who should be asked when an exception appears, and what needs a person's review. Check that the actions the work needs are available to your agent.

## Rehearse first

Run a rehearsal before you switch on changes. Steps that would change something are held back, but some reading steps still run, which can mean real processing, network activity or cost.

Review what happened after each run. If the work needs information it can't reach or a decision it can't make, or hits an exception, bring in the owner.
