# Ask to see the source behind an answer

Ask your connected agent to name the records behind its answer, so you can open them and see what it's based on.

Before a customer conversation, for example, ask for the current account decision and the record it comes from. Your agent searches only what its access allows. If the records don't settle the question, ask it to say what's missing rather than guess.

Your agent finds related records through maps. A map is a guide in your Mind that points towards the records on a topic. It can be incomplete or out of date, so treat it as a starting point.
