Use the web portal, connect your agent through MCP or work from the command line. All three follow the same access rules.

### Three ways to use your Mind

The browser, your agent and the command line all use your Mind and the same access rules.

1. Choose how to connect: browser, agent or terminal
2. Check who is asking: their account and access
3. Open allowed areas: search, read or suggest
4. Your Mind: one shared set of files
5. Activity record: what happened and when

## Use the web portal

Open the portal to browse your Mind, review suggested changes, manage team access and check recent activity.

The portal shows what is in your Mind and what needs your attention.

## Connect your agent

MCP is a standard way for an AI tool such as Claude, Codex or Cursor to use your Mind. Mensara gives you the setup details for that tool.

Your agent can use only the areas and actions you are allowed to use.

## Use the command line

The `mind` command is for people who work in a terminal. It can search, open files, suggest changes and check whether Mensara is running.

A blocked request stays blocked in the portal, MCP and the command line.

## Example: Ask Claude about the refund policy

Ask your connected Claude tool to find the current refund rule and name its source file. Mensara returns only information your signed-in account may read. An attempt to read a restricted file is refused; search omits restricted records.

The web portal, supported personal MCP connections and the `mind` command are available on configured Minds. Use your Mind's address and sign in with your own account. Any access required by your AI provider is separate.
