## For agents

- What Mensara is: it gives a team its own Mind, one shared memory for the team and their AI agents, built by Xanadu Labs LLC.
- Status: signup is not open. A person joins the waitlist at https://app.mensara.ai/#waitlist. Agents cannot create an account or sign up.
- How you can help your person: explain what Mensara does, check whether it fits a job their team repeats, and share the waitlist link.
- Agent references: https://app.mensara.ai/llms.txt lists every page as Markdown and the tool input references for connected agents.

# Questions

How Mensara works · Before you start · [How it works](https://app.mensara.ai/how-it-works)

The questions people ask before they say yes. If much of your company runs on what is in a few people's heads, these usually come up next.

## Once everything lives in Mensara, are we stuck with you?

No. Your Mind is plain Markdown files with their published history in a Git repository. Copy the repository and you keep the files and their history, readable without Mensara. With a Git backup and the separate Recovery Kit, the Mind can be rebuilt on a replacement server. See [Backup, restore and ownership](https://app.mensara.ai/how-it-works/backup-restore-ownership).

## I don't want our playbook on someone else's servers.

Your Mind's content lives on its own server, not in Mensara's account system. Who operates that server depends on the hosting arrangement you choose, so ask about it during setup. See [Decide where your information may go](https://app.mensara.ai/how-it-works/ownership-data-flow).

## How do I know what the agent actually looked at?

Access is checked by software before any model sees a file. Each read, refusal and change leaves a signed activity record of who asked, what kind of action it was and the outcome. You can also ask your agent to name the files it used, then open them. See [Changes and approvals](https://app.mensara.ai/how-it-works/changes-approvals-receipts).

## We re-explain our context to every AI tool. Does this fix that?

That's the point of writing it down once. Each person's agent reads the same Mind, within that person's access, so the context doesn't reset between conversations or tools. Keeping it accurate is still your team's work, and review makes that work visible.

## Why not use the AI features already built into our tools?

A Mind is your own set of files, used by the agents your team already has: Claude, Codex, Cursor or ChatGPT on the web. Other compatible tools may connect too.

## Couldn't we build this ourselves?

Keeping company knowledge in a repository you control isn't a new idea, and we won't pretend it is. The hard part comes after day one: access for each person and agent, review of changes, activity records, backups and keeping the information current. That work doesn't stop after setup.

## What will it cost?

Mensara is setting up a founding group by hand, so there is no public price list yet. Your AI tools are paid for separately, through your own AI subscriptions or API keys. Join the waitlist and we'll talk through the shape of your Mind.

## What happens when an answer is wrong?

Answers can be wrong. That's why answers point back to the files they used and why changes can wait for review. A wrong answer is easier to trace and correct when you can see the source and the history behind it.

## Can I sign up today?

Not yet. Public signup is closed while we set up the founding group personally. Join the waitlist and we'll be in touch about setup.

Mensara gives your team one shared memory, your Mind, that people and their connected agents read. Each agent stays within the access of the person it works for. It fits when the same background comes up again and again and you want answers that lead back to a source you can open.
