# The Overture

> The Overture is the working session in which a Mensara owner's Mind is first built. A Mensara team member triages where the Mind should start, brings it up with real content from the owner's own business, and closes the same sitting with real answers to the owner's own questions, receipts attached. A day-7 checkpoint and a thirty-day period of added capability follow.

## A sitting, not a signup

The Overture is the first time your Mind gets built. It is not a page you fill in alone at midnight and forget about. Someone sits with you, whether that is in the same room or across a call, for as long as the work takes.

That is a design choice, not a delay. A form cannot ask a follow-up question. A person can, and the first version of your Mind is built better for it.

## Triage, before anything gets loaded

We start by working out where your Mind should look first. Every business keeps its truth in different places: a shared drive, a set of deal notes, whatever lives in your own head and nowhere else yet.

You point us at yours. Together, we pick the ground worth covering in this first sitting. Not everything the business has ever produced. The parts that change what a good answer looks like.

## Real answers, same sitting

Before the session ends, real content from your business is already in. Not a demo file. Your calendar, your numbers, your notes, whatever we agreed mattered most for a first pass.

Then we ask your Mind the questions you came with. Not sample questions. Yours. You get real answers, in that same sitting, with a receipt attached to each one, so you can see exactly what it read to get there.

That is the moment the whole session is built around. Everything before it is preparation for this one hour.

## Day 7, then thirty days

A week later, we check in. What your Mind got right. What it got wrong. What turned out to be missing that neither of us thought to load on day one.

Over the following month, more gets added: more of the business it can see, more of the questions it can carry, a wider set of the skills and agents it starts with as standard. Call it a capability ladder. You are not handed the whole business on day one, and you should not want to be.

## What this asks of you

The first sitting takes real time from you, not five minutes at a keyboard between meetings. Block the hour, or two, that the work needs.

The other thing we ask is harder to put on a form: a willingness to look at what your Mind gets wrong. A young Mind will make mistakes in its first weeks. The receipts are how you see them plainly, rather than finding out later, at a worse moment. That is the whole point of building it this way instead of a faster one.

## Prompt

```prompt
Before your first session, write down the three real questions you most want your Mind to answer honestly on day one, and name which parts of your business each one would need to see (your calendar, your deal notes, your financials, your own working notes) to answer properly.
