What you own
Your team's files and their published history stay yours to copy and keep. You can read and edit the exported Markdown files without Mensara. Copy the Git repository to retain history; copying Markdown files alone retains their current contents.
For your Mind, the named owner controls backups, exports and deletion.
Files and recovery keys
A second copy of the files is kept away from the main server. The Git backup leaves out the private keys. Store the Recovery Kit separately.
Google connection credentials are stored separately from shared records and excluded from the Git backup.
Restore, export or transfer
If the server fails, the files and recovery keys can be used to rebuild your Mind on a new server. Outside services are connected again one by one.
The owner can also export the files or transfer ownership to another person.
